Será Cocoa was born out of the vision of building a bridge between cultures, traditions and nature – using a single, powerful ingredient: 100% pure cocoa.

Founded by a German traveler who is connecting her roots with her new home in the heart of the Brazilian rainforest, Será Kakao aims to share the magic of ritual cacao with the world while preserving the stunning nature that makes this cacao so special.

Sustainability and respect for nature and the people who grow and care for the cocoa is at the heart of this project. We work closely with the Cabruca cooperative , a community of small farmers in Bahia, Brazil, who practice traditional and regenerative farming methods such as Syntropic agroforestry . These methods protect biodiversity and the delicate balance of the rainforest where our cocoa grows. Every step of the production process - from harvest to packaging - stays in Brazil, helping to strengthen the local economy and promote regional added value.

A simple ritual, such as enjoying a cup of 100% pure cocoa, offers an opportunity to breathe deeply, activate the senses and connect with the here and now. By planning this moment of silence, we not only find inner peace, but also strengthen our resilience to stress and excessive demands.

You grab a cup of warm cocoa, breathe deeply and focus on the aromas that surround you. Take a sip, pause for a moment and feel the taste on your tongue. This moment of pause can help clear the mind, lift the mood and build a connection with yourself.

Cocoa is also very healthy - it is rich in nutrients that are good for the body and soul. It contains theobromine , which promotes gentle alertness and can have a relaxing effect at the same time. The high magnesium content supports muscle function and helps the body to relax. Cocoa also contains flavonoids , which are known for their antioxidant properties and promote blood circulation, which strengthens the cardiovascular system.

The anandamides contained in cocoa are particularly valuable and are considered “happiness molecules”. They have a positive effect on well-being and can increase feelings of joy and satisfaction. By consciously enjoying cocoa and incorporating it into a ritual, we benefit twice: the body is supplied with important nutrients and the mind experiences deep, beneficial relaxation.

How to prepare your Será cocoa:

Recipe for your Será Moment

  1. Cut the cocoa:
    For a daily portion 2.5 spoons (approx. 15-20g),
    For your ritual, use 5 spoons (approx. 30–38g).
  2. Pour 200ml of plant milk into the milk frother or into a saucepan.
  3. Add your favorite spices, like fresh organic vanilla (one of our favorites!), cinnamon, cardamom, etc. Click here for our favorite cocoa spice.
  4. Add a spoonful of honey or agave syrup.
  5. Remove the pot from the heat, add the cocoa and stir well until the cocoa has dissolved.
